Who are Quooker & What is the CUBE?
Quooker is currently the market leader in boiling water taps and their latest innovation, the CUBE tap certainly does it all. This new function from Quooker makes life in the kitchen even easier, saving you time and space, with a no longer, need to use plastic bottles, all completely safe. They are a modern kitchen accessory and certainly won’t disappoint.
The CUBE boiling water tap is available in combination with all Quooker taps from October 2017, and Quooker supplies one CO2 cylinder as standard. The Quooker CUBE connects to the tap to provide fresh or sparkling water in an instant with it being a great addition to your Quooker collection.
How to use the Quooker CUBE?
To dispense the sparkling water, just press and turn at the same time. The illuminated ring that turns red when the boiling water flows now flashes blue allowing the sparkling water to come out. If you hold down the button for slightly longer and then turn it, you get filtered water. With this function, it is impossible to dispense boiling water when you are opting for sparkling water.
To work a Quooker tap with the CUBE it can be installed at the bottom of the kitchen cabinet next to the Quooker tank. It includes two filters that make the water just as pure as the bottled water you buy in the shop. The CUBE is attached to a CO2 cylinder that gives you 60 litres of sparkling water from your Quooker tap.
Care & Maintenance
Maintaining the CUBE is very important and straightforward. Every 12 months the filters will need to be changed. They can be ordered through ourselves or Quooker, with the fan being cleaned once a year too. The CUBE will indicate to you at the time of changing as it will start beeping. Likewise, with the CO2 cylinder, the water jet will slow, making you aware that it needs to be replaced. It’s very easy to return empties to Quooker, with the bonus of it being free, you can order new cylinders straight from their site.
