Traditional, Classic & Shaker-Style Media Walls

A media wall is one of the most natural extensions of our kitchen-cabinetry work. We hand-build traditional, classic and Shaker-style media walls in the same in-frame construction, hand-painted finishes and premium hardware we use in our kitchens. Each design integrates your television, AV equipment, books and storage into a single, considered piece of joinery, often with a fireplace or electric fire at the centre.

While many media walls go in alongside our Hertfordshire and Essex kitchen projects, we work UK-wide on stand-alone commissions. Recent installations have run from Welwyn Garden City and Hertfordshire across to Kent, Surrey, Bury, Telford, Aldridge, Uxbridge and Tonbridge.

What is a traditional or Shaker-style media wall?

A traditional or Shaker-style media wall uses in-frame, hand-painted cabinetry, classic mouldings and proper joinery details (cornice, plinth, panelled doors) rather than the modern flat-slab look. It feels more like a piece of furniture than a built-in TV unit, and sits comfortably in period homes, country properties and any room where you want the joinery to feel handmade.

Can a media wall match the kitchen?

Yes. We use identical door styles, paint colours, hardware and worktop materials, so your media wall reads as part of the same family of cabinetry as your kitchen.

Can you build a media wall with a fireplace?

Yes. We regularly integrate electric or bio-ethanol fires, often beneath a recessed TV opening, with flanking cabinetry, bookshelves and concealed AV equipment storage. We will plan around your wall depth, chimney breast and any flue requirements.

Do you install media walls UK-wide?

Yes. While most kitchens we install are in the Home Counties, we are happy to take on stand-alone media-wall projects further afield, including the Midlands, the North West and the South Coast.
