Bespoke Personalisation & Personal Touches

Bespoke means different things to different clients. For some, it’s a hidden whisky cabinet in the island. For others, a window seat that doubles as the dog’s bed, a built-in dresser in a piece of reclaimed oak, or a coffee station finished to match a 1930s drinks cabinet. The personal…

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a kitchen truly bespoke?

A truly bespoke kitchen is hand-built to your exact measurements, with no flat-pack cabinetry or off-the-shelf doors involved. Every cabinet, drawer, frame and fitting is made to suit your space, your storage needs and your style. The bespoke difference shows in the details: in-frame construction, dovetail-jointed hardwood drawers, mortice-and-tenon doors, hand-painted finishes and premium hardware from makers like Armac Martin, Perrin & Rowe and Quooker.

How long does a bespoke kitchen take to design and build?

Most projects run twelve to sixteen weeks from final design sign-off through to fitting, with installation typically two to three weeks on site. Listed properties or projects with extensive custom features can take longer. We plan dates carefully around your wider building programme.

Can I personalise every detail of my kitchen?

Yes. Every detail is yours to specify: the door style (Classic, Modern, Traditional or Handleless), the paint colour, the worktop material, the appliances, the handles, the sink and tap, the lighting, the internal organisers, and any bespoke features such as banquette seating, window seats, larders or dressers. The point of bespoke is that no two kitchens are alike.

Where do you design and install bespoke kitchens?

Our Bridgers Barn showroom is in Great Hallingbury near Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire. We regularly design and install bespoke kitchens across Essex, Hertfordshire and north London, with occasional projects further afield in Cambridge and the wider Home Counties.
