Storage within a handmade kitchen is key to the design to make it a success. There are many storage solutions to choose from as every part of the kitchen is truly bespoke to the end-user.
There are some loving designs that we love to provide you with easily accessible storage, below we take a look at these.
A place for the crockery
A crockery cupboard or drawer can serve in different ways from storing glassware to tableware and serving ware. This convenient spot can be placed in any part of the kitchen design.
Crockery drawers make the perfect solution in our Mapesbury project. These are situated amongst the island on a handleless style. They are neatly joined together side by side to give you the large width drawer you require for plates and other crockery but with the symmetrical and orderly layout.
We are in love with this kitchen due to the traditional style mouldings and contemporary handleless doors, creating a truly bespoke design exactly what our client requested from us.
The London project has a full-height crockery storage cupboard that houses not only dinnerware but glasses too. It sits to the left of the cooking area, making it a convenient place and easily accessible.
Designated cupboard/drawer for pots and pans
As we know pots and pans are used so frequently in a kitchen and come as a special consideration when planning the overall design. The location is key keeping the everyday ones nearby and the less frequently used stored in further away cupboards.
What we love about this kitchen in Stock, Essex is not only the selection of Sub-Zero wolf appliances but these drawers that bring everything out to you. No need to bend down or rummage around for what you need, it’s all visible inside the solid Oak drawer boxes, sitting on quality Grass runners which are soft-close and full extension.⠀
Our client filled these drawers with their stunning collection of pots and pans that match perfectly with the award-winning appliances by Sub-Zero Wolf.
On the other end of the island in the Mapesbury project, handleless drawers are filled with our client’s collection of pots and pans. Neatly stacked and instantly accessible.
Breakfast pantry
The busiest meal of the day is breakfast. During the week our lives are hectic so a breakfast cupboard provides the perfect space for the toaster, coffee machine and other breakfast essentials that are instantly accessible. We have designed and built many of these throughout our projects and they have proven to be popular.
This breakfast bar that’s located in the corner of this stunning kitchen in Stock, Essex becomes a handy spot for the breakfast items. Bespoke bi-fold doors allow it to be instantly accessible but hidden out of view when not in use.
