Pink paints are no longer just for nurseries and children’s rooms; the new pinks offer a versatile palette for every kind of space in the home, especially the kitchen, whether it be traditional or modern. In the Farrow & Ball pink collection, there are grown-up colours, greyed-out shades and bold flashes of colour that sit side by side with the sweetest rose, blush and baby pink hues.
Our handmade kitchens are truly bespoke and can be hand-painted in the colour of your choice. Painting the handmade furniture in a pink shade from Farrow & Ball is one of the easiest ways to incorporate a trend-led colour into your interior. All of the pink shades in the palette come in the Estate Eggshell, Modern Eggshell and Full Gloss finishes, meaning plenty of scope for experimentation with kitchen cabinets and favourite furniture.
Design tip: Create a focal point by painting the kitchen island pink, complemented by the rest of the cabinets in white.
We love exploring colours at The Handmade Kitchen Company, and can’t wait to show you the pink hues we love from the Farrow & Ball collection.
Pale Pinks
Middleton Pink is fresh and uncomplicated, making it the most delicate of Farrow & Ball’s pink paint colours. For a distinctly grown-up look, try Peignoir or Calamine; these soft pinks with a generous touch of grey give a gorgeous depth of colour.
Middleton Pink from Farrow & Ball is a delicate pink and is one of their prettiest. It was named after the discerning colourist, Catherine Middleton. The light pastel tone is fresh and uncomplicated, especially when contrasted with white for a gently playful feel.

Calamine from Farrow & Ball is another delicate pink with a touch of grey. It is indeed named after the lotion we used as children to soothe nettle stings and rashes. The light touch of grey prevents this subtle pink from being too sugary, giving it a much fresher finish. In smaller rooms, it becomes intense, but in larger, well-lit rooms, it feels much more delicate.

Peignoir from Farrow & Ball is a romantic grey pink inspired by the chiffon gowns in which ladies traditionally brushed their hair. Created by giving the softest of pinks a big dose of grey, this colour has a unique depth that brings whatever it’s painted on to life. It works perfectly in homes both old and new with contemporary neutrals.
Blush Pinks
Pink Ground consists of a large dose of yellow pigment, creating the softest blush of colour for warm, soothing spaces. The similarly subtle Setting Plaster mimics the shade of freshly plastered walls, creating a universally flattering backdrop to favourite pieces of wall art and furniture. Both of these colours are delicate enough to be taken across the whole room, making them welcoming so that you won’t be able to resist spending hours in them.
Pink Ground from Farrow & Ball is a dusty blush pink that started out as a delicate wallpaper background, which was often requested as a paint colour. The large dose of yellow pigment now creates the softest blush of colour for a warm and soothing finish that doesn’t feel sugary.

Setting Plaster from Farrow & Ball is a dusty plaster pink named after the blushing walls we often admire in newly plastered houses. It is definitely pink in historic terms, but it has a certain softness to it due to the yellow pigment. It creates a wonderful backdrop in contemporary homes.
Bright Pinks
The vibrant pinks within the collection are clean, uplifting and invigorating, creating space that instantly prompts a smile. Rangwali is an intensely pigmented pink that transforms smaller spaces into secret pockets of joyful colour. In larger rooms, you can balance a softer bright pink like Nancy’s Blushes.
Shallot from Farrow & Ball is a sweet and cheerful pink that takes its name from a sweeter member of the allium family widely used in Cajun cuisine.

Rangwali from Farrow & Ball is an exotic and adventurous pink. It’s incredibly friendly and takes its name from the powder which is thrown so enthusiastically during the Holi festival of colours in India. Though bright, it has an absorbing depth of colour which is achieved by adding a small dose of black pigment.

Nancy’s Blushes from Farrow & Ball is their truest pink, named after the scrumptious, rosy cheeks of a much-loved little girl called Nancy. This pink hue certainly grabs your attention when paired with a bright white, but can create quietly charming interiors when contrasted with a soft neutral in shady rooms.
Dusky Pinks
Dusky pink paint is a natural next step for lovers of neutrals, combining the cosy and the contemporary appeal of a pink hue. They are versatile and easygoing. Dead Salmon is one of Farrow & Ball’s most changeable shades, shifting from mushroom to pink depending on the light. Cinder Rose is their truest, bluest dusky pink. Sulking Room Pink strikes the balance between grey and pink, bringing out the best in traditional and contemporary spaces.
Dead Salmon by Farrow & Ball is an aged pink and has a magical quality to it, as everyone sees it differently. This deep salmon pink creates the most subtle and serene of environments, suitable as a backdrop in candlelit dining rooms.

Cinder Rose by Farrow & Ball is a wildly romantic rose pink that has barely any of the yellow pigment found in most pinks, making it feel bluer and more romantic. Taking its name from the prettiest of traditional roses, it is the perfect colour for creating a dusky feel.

Sulking Room Pink by Farrow & Ball is a romantic and muted rose with enormous warmth. Its powdery feel makes it incredibly soft and easy to use with complementary tones. Sulking Room Pink is evocative of the colours so often used in boudoirs, a room named after the French “bouder” – to sulk.
