Classic Shaker Style Kitchen 49 – Potters Bar

Classic Shaker Style Kitchen 49 – Potters Bar

Features

We had the pleasure of working with Ginger and Mylo Interior Design on this project where we had a large blank canvas to work with. The kitchen and utility have been fitted out with our truly bespoke cabinetry and doors. The main kitchen area and dresser are an in-frame shaker style with beaded front frame made of tulipwood. The internal carcasses are made from an oak veneer MDF for the perfect blend of luxury, practicality and lasting appearance.

The walk-in pantry/utility room was built with a slab front set of drawers and floor to ceiling doors with a grooved tongue and groove appearance.

You will notice that in the kitchen we have featured some innovative storage options including two pantry cupboards with pocket doors and two pull-out larders.

What Is Shaker Design?

Shaker furniture is a distinctive style of furniture developed by the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Appearing, commonly known as Shakers, a religious sect that had guiding principles of simplicity, utility and honesty. Their beliefs were reflected in the well-made furniture of minimalist designs. Wikipedia.
