We have designed many bespoke dog beds and pet-friendly kitchens that have met the needs of our clients and their animals. Below we look at a few properties in different areas of Essex and Hertfordshire, where we have designed designated areas, especially for the furry friend.
It is important to keep the kitchen as safe as possible for our pets, keeping food stored away out of reach, choosing a durable worktop that is scratch-resistant, opting for cabinets that are easy to wipe and clean as we go!
Our clients in the Chelmsford project had a clear vision of the space they wanted to create in the renovated and extended room on the rear of their property. To utilize all the available space, our clients had a desire to build a bespoke dog bed, something that was comfy but also multi-functional to store all the dog’s accessories.
It soon became an eye-catching design feature, which was built close to the entertaining areas and garden. The pooch will never feel left out now!
Stanley certainly loves his bed in this Bishop’s Stortford kitchen that was purposely built for him. We have designed the perfect retreat for him to cosy up in while our clients are spending time in the kitchen. The dog bed is designed amongst the kitchen run with purposely built drawers to store food, treats, grooming accessories and waste bags. This area is in fact in the second part of the kitchen that acts as a utility and boot room.
We can see clearly in this shot how the dog bed has been designed into this space of the home.
The pet bed doesn’t have to be built within the cabinetry, it can be made from an extended worktop, just like this kitchen in Chelmsford. The worktop has been extended out into the open-space creating almost a penisula where underneath there’s lots of floor space for the dog bed.
