How Armac Martin Decorative Grilles can fit into Your Home

Cabinetry around the Home

The most popular area for decorative grilles is in cabinetry. A cabinet with a decorative grille can easily add elegance and uniqueness to the space. Armac Martin grilles come in many styles that suit all aesthetics, so it doesn’t matter if you’re renovating a traditional kitchen or designing a modern space, there will be one that is best suited. They can also create a visually light and airy feel to the cabinetry while still offering practical storage.

Radiator Covers

Radiators are essential to a home’s functioning, but some don’t often contribute to the overall design. Add decorative grilles to radiators, where heat can still be circulated and the unit is concealed by a beautiful design. Adding this type of feature is a great solution for those with classic homes where traditional radiator covers might clash with a more contemporary design.

Vents

Vents are placed around the home to provide airflow and ventilation for heating, cooling and air quality systems. Vents can often lack aesthetic appeal and can detract from the overall design of a room, so adding a decorative grille is an excellent way to transform ordinary fixtures into an elegant design feature.

Armac Martin Decorative Grilles FAQs

What are Armac Martin decorative grilles?

They are handcrafted solid brass panels, made in Birmingham, used to add both texture and ventilation to furniture and interiors. They let air flow through while concealing what sits behind, so an ordinary cabinet panel, vent or radiator cover becomes an elegant design feature.

What can decorative grilles be used for?

Most commonly they are used on cabinetry, radiator covers and vents, but they also work beautifully on media walls, doors and appliance vents. In our projects we have used them on a media wall and to ventilate an air conditioning cupboard.

What patterns do Armac Martin grilles come in?

The range includes Regency Diamond, Georgian Square and Elliptical patterns, a family of hand-woven basketweave interwoven styles (diamond, square and rectangular, single and double, plain or reeded), and a simple mesh that can be used on its own or as a backing.

Do decorative grilles allow airflow?

Yes. Their perforated and hand-woven designs are made to let air move freely, which is why they work so well on cabinetry that needs ventilation, over radiators, and on appliance or air conditioning vents.

We incorporate Armac Martin grilles into our bespoke kitchens and furniture, designed and hand-built from our workshop in Hertfordshire for clients across Essex, Hertfordshire and North London.
