Our main Bridgers Barn showroom has had some stunning changes made to it over the last few months and we are so excited to show you! We always want to keep up with the latest and current trends that are found in luxury kitchen design and it’s our aim to have many of these and our very own features on show to help you create your dream space.
We will take you on a tour below of one side of the updated showroom and run through all the details to give you an idea of the luxury features you will come across.
Handmade Kitchen Co is the first UK dealer with a working De Manincor range cooker in their kitchen showroom. We opted for the Absolute Black colour with Burnished Brass edging and details to tie in with the style of the barn and the same for the cooker hood. This proudly sits in its own space with some stunning Onyx. The cooker hood is separated from the range with a stainless steel backsplash and a 2mm thick stainless steel worktop completes the look. We had to add the stainless steel utensil rail and hooks – love these.
- Additional features on the De Manincor include Gas Hobs with Coup De Feu and Pasta boiler/Steamer
- The pasta cooker fills itself with water, reaches boiling point and as it is plumbed in, it drains away automatically
- This is fully working and we have many demonstration videos
Working our way around to the sink run where you will find our Classic In-Frame Shaker with cock beaded front frame and an in-line plinth. Amongst the cabinetry is a Shaws of Darwen 1000 wide double bowl sink with a Quooker Pro 3 Classic Nordic tap in Chrome with the Cube accessory, Perrin & Rowe Ionian Mixer tap in chrome with rinse and a freestanding traditional soap dispenser in chrome. You have to have all the accessories!
- The handles found on the cabinets are the Perrin and Rowe large contoured knobs and Shell handles, both in chrome
- We hand-painted the sink run in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe (a dramatic lead grey) for the base cabinets and Blackened (a cool white with a slight hint of grey) for the wall cabinets
- Mixing up the stone worktops and giving a luxurious look is the Vanilla Ice quartz
This part of the showroom below is our Modern In-Frame Shaker style with a plain front frame, complete with recessed beaded centre panels and a skirting plinth. The centre panels in this style are set twice as deep to create a substantial unique look. To add a classic look, the inside of the handmade mantle is our Classic In-Frame Shaker with a cock beaded front frame and beading inside the centre panel.
Give your kitchen design an imposing centrepiece just like we have at Handmade Kitchen Company with a Sub-Zero & Wolf appliance. This particular Wolf Dual Fuel Range has 4 burners and a double grill/teppanyaki, with a width of 1216mm. This cooking machine has been the choice of professionals for eight decades and is now the favourite of discerning home cooks as well.
- This whole part of the furniture was hand-painted in Little Greene Rolling Fog and the bespoke mantle and walls were hand-painted in Rolling Fog Dark to warm the look.
- The handles are a mixture of Armac Martin – Armac Martin Cotswold Cupboard Latch, Withenshaw Cup Pull and Bakes Flush latch all in Satin Antique, Satin Lacquered
- Other handles found in this section are from Alexander and Wilks – Lucia Reeded Cupboard Knob in antique brass
- Setting the scene is the Valencia Quartz, complete with upstands and a full-height splashback
- We also added a Westin Bespoke Extractor with Twin Internal Motors
Here on the island, we have two different styles of Mapesbury-style cabinetry. The corner posts are finished with the beautiful moulding style and the drawers and cabinets that make up the island are Lay-On fronts in a handleless design with 30mm finger pulls.
- The island is hand-painted in Down Pipe by F&B
- The Turned Pedestal table base is also hand-painted in Down Pipe by F&B
- Found amongst the island is an S-box Chameleon pop-up socket with 2 plug sockets and 2 USBs
To complete the top of the island we opted for the Heartley Grey quartz in a polished finish. We wanted something a little different on the pedestal table and opted for the Calacatta Borghini quartz. What a stunning combination!
