Recently, our journey continued at the Hadley Wood project, bringing a series of elegant new additions around the room. The three rooms are filled with function, beauty, and craftsmanship that is spotlighted through our work.
Working closely with interior designer Tom Hughes, we’ve had the pleasure of extending our signature Classic In-Frame shaker style to these distinct spaces: a second study at the front of the property, a well-equipped boot room, and a sophisticated garden room kitchen for outdoor pleasures. Each one of these spaces has been carefully tailored to reflect the homeowners’ lifestyle and love for timeless design. Elevating our classic in-frame Shaker is the deep inset with beaded detailing throughout the design. It adds a layer of traditional refinement and visual depth.
Come with us as we step through these three beautifully designed rooms, each telling its own story while remaining connected to the intended purpose of the space.
From the calm and comfy work setting to the energy of the boot room, and the quiet luxury of the garden room kitchen, this is more than a home transformation. This is a living showcase of how our bespoke furniture and thoughtful design can blend.

A Refined Work Retreat
Positioned at the front of the home, the second exciting study is this serene and stylish escape for working, gaming and indulging in a good book. Our client made it more of a library rather than a working area. One of the standout features in this space is the custom-built window bench seat, a beautiful snug area and underneath are deep storage drawers, maximising functionality. On either side are open shelving units which are created to look and feel like a built-in media wall, perfect for books, decorative pieces, or work essentials.
The matching workstation is built for two people, divided by a set of drawers and a bespoke desk worktop arranged by interior designer Tom Hughes.
Grounding the whole space and acting as a beautiful backdrop colour is Inchyra Blue by F&B – an aged blue grey. Highlighting the details is the Dark Bronze Armac Martin Dougan Cabinet knobs and the right-hand cupboard, cleverly designed to house an amplifier.
We believe this is more than a home office, it’s a beautifully balanced environment where everyday life’s pleasures come together through craftsmanship, comfort and creativity.
A Boot Room Built for a Sport Enthusiast
Not your average boot room, it’s a space designed for a passion for sport. It’s packed to the brim with practical, durable floor-to-ceiling handmade furniture to store the essentials, all while looking effortlessly stylish. Adding yet another muted shade to the home is the green shade of Windmill Lane by Little Greene. It’s a colour that characterises exquisite taste.
We needed something to bring texture and strength to this storage room, so we chose Armac Martin’s MIX Diamond Knurled Cabinet Handles and Coat Hooks, all in American Bronze Lacquered. The hooks provide ideal storage for coats, bags, or rackets, while the nice addition of red bungee cords used to store sports balls adds a bright, playful twist to the room’s function-first feel. This little touch is one of our favourites!
Our bespoke joinery meets real-life needs, ensuring that all equipment has a home, neatly stored and easy to find, ready for the next adventure.
A Relaxing Place to Unwind, Complete with the Basics of a Kitchen
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle is the garden room kitchen, combining the dramatic colour of F&B Off-Black with the sleek lines of the Armac Martin Edgbaston Pulls in American Bronze Lacquered. This beautifully appointed kitchenette space is practical enough for everyday use and casual entertaining, when parties take to the outdoors.
It’s not just the little touches that give the space a contemporary edge, the Franke Myhtos stainless steel sink and tap provide a high-performance focal point that can be used for prepping drinks for a garden party or a quiet coffee in the fresh air.
While the cabinetry externals are undoubtedly elegant, the internal craftsmanship is just as refined. As you open each door, you are met with solid oak providing open shelving, pull-out drawers and pull-out shelves.
Host in the spring and summer, preparing and serving food to your guests or use it as an informal second kitchen and breakfast area, away from the main hustle of the home. Enjoy the sunshine in your new garden room kitchen!
As our work in Hadley Wood evolved, the story unfolded into a rich and detailed narrative, showcasing bespoke handmade furniture thoughtfully crafted for every corner of the home.
