Modern Shaker Style Kitchen 28 – Sawbridgeworth

Modern Shaker Style Kitchen 28 – Sawbridgeworth

Features

A spacious kitchen we designed and installed in Sawbridgeworth featuring our in-frame, flat fronted and hand painted cabinetry. We used Farrow & Ball paints, the London Clay on the main furniture and Rectory Red for the central island. Luxury Quartz worktops in Piatra Grey. The substantial look is helped by the cabinet legs going to the floor with the plinth between them.

The taps used are Perrin & Rowe Poenix for both the main sink and island sink, with the main sink featuring a 3 in 1 instant hot water mixer.

Some bespoke storage options included the large section of glass fronted cabinetry and a pantry cupboard with dual layer storage using hinge-out shelving.

What Is Shaker Design?

Shaker furniture is a distinctive style of furniture developed by the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Appearing, commonly known as Shakers, a religious sect that had guiding principles of simplicity, utility and honesty. Their beliefs were reflected in the well-made furniture of minimalist designs. Wikipedia.
