A dark varnish has been used on the solid pine carcasses to give a more luxurious look and feel once inside the pantry cupboard for example.
The plinth has been set back for a more contemporary appearance which matches that of the satin brass handles and white marble effect quartz worktops.
We supplied a Quooker boiling water tap; all other appliances are the client’s own.
What Is Shaker Design?
Shaker furniture is a distinctive style of furniture developed by the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Appearing, commonly known as Shakers, a religious sect that had guiding principles of simplicity, utility and honesty. Their beliefs were reflected in the well-made furniture of minimalist designs. Wikipedia.
