The key to working from home is creating a successful usable, professional space that is separate from the rest of your home. You want an area that combines function and form that is stylish as well as productive. When speaking with clients they all have their own unique working style, but once we established what our Hadley Wood client was after, we agreed on a cohesive design that would give them desk space, storage and shelving – the home office they deserve.
Nick Bridger has been designing beautiful kitchens for discerning clients for two decades, building creations that suit your style and home perfectly. Every inch of space is utilised to provide stunning solutions for the end-user, so no more working from the kitchen table or a makeshift desk in the spare room.
We pride ourselves on ensuring we provide a great service to our customers. Your needs are put first at all times with a personal approach from the very first phone call or email right through to the installation process ensuring you are fully satisfied with your new bespoke furniture.
Let’s take a look at this stunning home office in a little more detail…
Located within a stylish home in Hadley Wood it provides a fresh, contemporary working environment completed in our classic shaker style. We flowed the same design from the kitchen through to the office space and hand-painted it in French Grey 113 by Little Greene – a fancy, luxurious grey that bounces the light beautifully. We also completed the furniture with Armac Martin knobs and handles with a solid wood top.
What we have here on this side of the room is a desk we made, symmetrical on either side and designed the cupboards and drawers with our classic shaker. We included tongue and groove at the bottom on the inside where the chair sits, as well as the top where the open shelves lie.
The room is filled with linen style wallpaper around each wall and a dark grey soft carpet, shutter blinds have also been chosen to stop the glare from the natural sunlight reflecting on the computer screen. We love the column wall radiator too, to give lots of heat in the winter months.
There has been so much space created!
On the other side of this luxury little office space, we find a wall full of our handmade furniture giving our client more storage space and an area where things can be organised neatly. Open shelves in the middle break up the design and a wooden worktop separate the cupboards from the solid drawers below.
It looks sleek, functional and a place you won’t mind sitting in all day while you work from home.
